Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) Bridging Modules allow you to take the next step in your educational career, to prepare you to step up to a top-up degree or a master’s programme at Anglia Ruskin University.
The ARU Bridging Modules are designed to build on the learning you have gained through your teaching experience and portfolio of work from your Cambridge PDQ.
To take part in the Certificate or Diploma programme candidates are required to have sufficient competence in English. All candidates should have English language competence comparable to Level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This framework is provided by the Council for Europe. The Cambridge International Certificate (Level 4) and Diploma (Level 5) are internationally recognised qualifications enabling you to progress your career in international education. Yes! In fact in order to qualify for enrollment candidates need to:
Certificate - Programme Length 4 months (Module 1)
Diploma - Programme Length 6 Months (On completion of the Certificate, candidates can then progress to Modules 2 and 3 to complete the Diploma)
The Certificate & Diploma courses consist of a broad balance of activities, spread equally over 150 hours for each of the 3 Modules. Typically this consists of 50 hours each of:
*Cambridge Professional Development Centers must provide at least 50 hours of guided learning for each module.
**Candidates should integrate as much preparation time as possible into their day-to-day practice. They should allow time for background reading and discussion with their colleagues, to enrich their reflective practice.
Candidates are assessed through an ePortfolio of evidence, submitted to a team of Cambridge International examiners using Cambridge PDQ Connect, an online platform. In their portfolio, candidates demonstrate their knowledge, skills and understanding in the context of their own work. Portfolio evidence includes:
Certificate - Online course £1,500.00 & CAIE entry fee £241.55 = Total £1,741.55
Diploma - Online course £2,000.00 & CAIE certification entry fee £531.45 = Total £2531.45
